Lemon rice is a simple menu which you can include in your lunch box. It can be served with raita, pickles and curd.
Ingredients
1.Basmathi rice – 1 glass
2.Lemon juice – 3 tbsp
3. Salt
4. Ghee
- Peanuts roasted
- Cashew
- Pepper corns
- Cinnamon
- Bay leaf
- Cloves
- Cardamom
- Turmeric powder a pinch
Preparation
- Cook the rice with double quantity of water. Add salt to taste.
- Saute the ingredients no.4 in a kadai. Switch off the flame.
- Add lemon juice to it. Mix the rice with the sauted masala.
- Switch on the flame and mix the rice for 1-2mts,without smashing.
